so which was the last NON-local drama shown?

That was Survivor's Law in 2006, which was aired to replace a drama which was a proposed MediaCorp collaboration with NKF then cancelled because of the NKF Scandal in 2005.

Let's hope and pray that Baby Bonus can start off yet another long unbroken chain of local dramas on weekdays at 9 pm lasting for ten years at least! MediaCorp's current chain disappointingly even lasts way shorter than Chelsea's unbeaten Premier League home run which lasted 4 years 8 months.
